For invited testers
A small beginning.
A real app to try.
NotJustCals is in early testing on Android and the web. The app is free during this beta, with no payment details required.
Your app, in your browser
Use the same account, stories and diary on your phone, tablet or computer. Your saved entries sync through the same service as the Android app.
Invited accounts only. A browser can show steps already synced by your phone or let you enter them manually. For a meal photo on a computer, choose a file or use the temporary phone camera link shown in the app. Unsent drafts stay on the device that created them.
Already testing with us?
This is the direct Android installation file, provided by NotJustCals. It is not a Google Play download.
Version 0.9.0 · Android 8.0 or later · About 113 MB · For adults 18+
- Open this page on your Android phone and download the file.
- Open the downloaded APK. If Android asks, allow this browser or file manager to install this app. You can turn that permission off again afterwards.
- Open NotJustCals and use the sign-in details arranged for your test account.
- Send observations through Help & feedback in the app. Your own data export and account deletion are available in Settings.
If you already have an earlier compatible NotJustCals beta, install this file as an update. Keep the existing app installed so you do not remove any entries still waiting to sync.
What to expect
The app brings situation-based stories together with optional food, weight, feelings and step tracking. Erik can share meals and daily step totals alongside your own private diary.
The first public story collection is still being prepared. Screens and examples on the introduction page explain the experience; they are not a promise that every situation already has a published video. Some beta features still need testing on real phones.
Phone notifications are not part of the verified beta experience yet. In-app updates remain available when new shared content becomes eligible.
A native iPhone download is not available yet; invited testers can use the browser app. There is no subscription or payment collection in this beta; any future paid access will be explained before it begins.
